- "Hear O Israel, the LORD our God is one LORD." ~ Duetoronomy 6:4 "...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father..." ~ John 14:9 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father who is above all, through all, and in you all." ~ Ephesians 4:5&6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." ~ Isaiah 9:6 These Scriptures show that Jesus was the one that was promised to come. It also says that Jesus is THE Father, Jesus is THE Son, and Jesus is THE Holy Ghost. All are one as it says in Acts 4:12 ~ "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name given among men, whereby we must be saved." There is ONE GOD and His name is JESUS. There is power in that name, and that's why we are told to be baptized in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, not the "Father, Son, Holy Ghost" Formula.
